This position is responsible for implementation of Engineering Department projects. Work assignments will require intensive and diversified engineering principles and practices in the field of facilities maintenance and operations. Assignments will include maintenance and Grounds staff to ensure that hotel facilities and systems operate properly. Position allows development of professional capabilities through applications of complex techniques, procedures, and criteria in performing sequences of related engineering tasks. The person in this position must exercise judgment on details of work and in making final selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives on specific projects. To perform this position successfully, an individual must have High School Diploma or GED required a minimum of three (2-3) years’ experience as an engineering services technician required. Facilities experience preferred. An additional three (3) years’ experience concentrated in a service related technology position may be considered in lieu of licensure/certification. Must have the ability to multitask on several projects at the same time and have basic knowledge all facets of the hotel engineering field, to include but not limited to, HVAC, Kitchen Maintenance, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Life Safety Systems, Elevators, and Electronics, must present 60 month DMV printout with submission of application.
